I didn't encounter major bugs on Xbox Series X and I have finished the game. I didn't encounter major bugs on Xbox One X, but, the loading is so slow, I didn't finish the game. Play it for as long as you like and don't feel bad if you don't finish it. I think its worth a try since its "gamepass free" if you've got nothing else on your plate. I think we played it once and we haven't gone back. We did decide to purchase the season pass and finished the first DLC (steeltown) but we were well and truly over the game by the time the latest DLC came out.

A lot of it just felt like a few variations of shooty boys (short range, long range) or tanky meele character which by the end you can just run them into a room full of enemies and they'll take on everyone by themselves. Gameplay was fun at first but I felt like past the mid game it just felt like there wasn't enough to keep us interested. Its funny, story is cool, light but interesting decision making. On the game itself it has a really strong start to it. Fortunately we could still proceed with the rest of the game just fine. Had part of the main quest objectives just not complete for us. Definitely some jank to it and had some online troubles around their patches but no major problems in game albeit one. I played it co-op on pc through game pass with a friend.
